About Sally O'malley

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Sally O'malley is a fluffy-tailed beauty who still has plenty of sass and a heart full of love waiting for her perfect home. True to her "people dog" nature, Sally wants nothing more than to be near her humans—she will gladly curl up in your lap or snooze nearby while you work. She thrives with gentle attention and will happily sit for treats, enjoy endless belly rubs, and follow you from room to room, ensuring you always have company. Sally is doing well with the resident cat in her foster home and could live with a cat that's comfortable around dogs. While she may be ambivalent with some dogs, she prefers calm, well-socialized canine companions who respect her space and aren't looking for rough play. Sally needs a home without small pets, as her strong prey drive makes her quite interested in chasing little critters outdoors. She absolutely adores walks and makes a confident, energetic exercise partner. At the start of a walk or at the sight of squirrels, Sally may pull with excitement—her foster family has been working on leash manners, and she’s proving herself to be very smart and willing to learn. Loud storms can make her nervous, and she’ll appreciate having a reassuring human close by until the sky clears. Sally is gentle and has been good with teens and children she’s encountered on walks. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped, and she also qualifies for the rescue’s Seniors for Seniors Program. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
