About Ladybug
Ladybug is a smaller-medium mix with a huge heart, rescued from a tough start in Texas and now thriving in Colorado. She's mellow and easygoing—happy with a stroll or a hike, always gentle, genuinely cuddly, and a little bit silly. House trained and usually quiet, she saves the occasional woof or silly grumble for when she’s feeling playful. Ladybug prefers being free in the house (and has done great that way), but will go in her crate with a little encouragement. She’s glued to her people and often follows them from room to room. There’s nothing she loves more than stretching out in a yoga downward dog, wagging her tail with her signature wiggle-butt, and curling up for couch cuddles. At night she’ll settle on a dog bed or chair, but she’s also happy to sleep in a crate if needed. Ladybug gets along well with other dogs and is gentle with children. While she hasn’t officially met cats, her foster says she’s not aggressive toward small animals; mostly, she’s just curious and might break into a bouncy chase if a bunny catches her eye. She’s listed as special needs because she’s finishing heartworm treatment, but has no restrictions and is just waiting on a final check-up. She’s ready for a forever home with a committed adopter—homeownership is required. Start your journey together! Apply now.
