About Boone
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Boone is a creamy yellow Labrador Retriever with a warm, goofy spirit and a smile that will win you over. He's about 7 and a half, thriving in his middle years and proving age is just a number. Boone embraces life as it comes, never missing a chance for a sun-soaked nap, an unrushed walk where he can sniff to his heart's content, or a backyard game with a favorite toy. Despite some tough breaks in his past, Boone still greets every day with resilience and a trademark lab optimism. He’s not just good company—he’s house-trained, crate trained, polite on a leash, and knows all the basics. Boone fits in well around people of all ages and calmly accepts other dogs, particularly female companions that match his energy. He thrives in a quieter home environment, ideally with adults or older kids, where he can be the center of attention or share space with the right canine friend. Boone recently completed heartworm treatment and will need monthly preventative moving forward. He does best as the only dog or with a mellow female dog and does not get along with cats. If you're after an easygoing, loyal companion who wants a spot on your couch and a place in your heart, Boone is ready for the next chapter—and as a Sagittarius, he’s got just enough wanderlust and loyalty to keep life interesting. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
