Ranger is house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations, and he takes pride in being a very good boy. He can be wary of new people at first, especially men, but toss one of his beloved toys, add a treat or two, and you will quickly see his playful heart shine through. With a little patience and structured play, he warms up beautifully and forms strong bonds with his people. This clever guy already knows sit, stay, lie down, shake, quiet, and drop it. He learns quickly and thrives with positive reinforcement, especially when snacks are involved! Ranger is highly food motivated and will happily show off his skills for a tasty reward. He may try to sneak a treat if one is within reach, which only adds to his charming, mischievous streak. Fetch is his absolute favorite pastime! Balls and sticks are treasures in his world, while frisbees are mysteriously uninteresting. He needs one to two hours of daily ball play in a large, fenced yard to keep his mind and body happy.
