Her love for people shines in her desire for snuggles and companionship. She is incredibly smart and can quickly pick up on cues, especially when treats are involved! She has made great strides in training and has the capacity to learn even more. When she was first found, Augusta was unsure of the world and often stepped into the role of protector, which sometimes made her defensive. In one instance, when she felt uncertain, she reacted by nipping a neighbor on the ankle. However, with time, structure, and trust, her behavior has transformed. She now responds beautifully to guidance and routine!
