About Gideon

Meet Gideon! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Gideon is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes. Gideon is a handsome tabby boy with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. While he may be a little shy when first meeting new people, give him some time and you'll quickly see his true personality shine-he's an absolute love bug. This sweet boy adores pets and will happily roll over for belly rubs once he feels safe and comfortable. Gideon has been through a rough past, but he's making incredible progress and continues to come out of his shell more each day. Watching his confidence grow is truly special. Gideon is wonderfully well-rounded and would fit into many types of homes. He does great with kids, other cats, and even doges, making him a fantastic addition to a loving family. If you're looking for a kind-hearted companion who just needs a little patience to blossom into your most affectionate best friend, Gideon might be the perfect match for you. Gideon is ~3 years old, neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his litter box tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! Gideon does great with kids, cats, and dogs that are currently in his foster home. Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
