About Lilah

Meet Lilah! Lilah is a 4-month-old survivor with a heart as big as her puppy eyes. She recently arrived from Mississippi after a heartbreaking start to life—her mom was found severely underweight while trying to care for her litter, and Lilah was the only puppy to survive parvo. This little girl is truly a fighter, and now she’s ready for the happy ending she deserves. Lilah is everything you’d expect from a puppy—curious, playful, and full of personality! She loves to chew (as puppies do), so she’ll need a home that can keep a close eye on her and provide plenty of appropriate chew toys. She’s very easily redirected and eager to learn. With her strong hound nose, Lilah is especially interested in kitchen smells and has already figured out exactly where the treats are kept—she’ll happily sit and wait, just in case something appears! She’s doing great with potty training and is learning quickly with help from her foster dog siblings. Lilah enjoys playing hard but is just as happy to curl up for a good nap afterward. She has a soft coat, a sweet temperament, and a medium energy level that makes her a great balance of fun and cuddly. Lilah is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and does well spending time in her crate during the day when needed. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and already spayed. She’s still getting used to walking on a leash and can be a little dramatic about it—but with consistency and patience, she’s improving every day. On the bright side, she has excellent recall off-leash, and continued work with this will really help her thrive. Like many puppies, Lilah is still working through her teething phase and may occasionally mouth hands, but she redirects easily. A home with mindful supervision around young children would be ideal while she grows out of this stage. Does Lilah sound like the perfect fit for your family?
