Ghee – a very special male boxer 🖤 Ghee (like the clarified butter!) came to us after being left at a shelter when his military family was transferred to Japan. We were told Ghee is 10… but we’re not convinced! He acts more like he’s 6 years old and is a healthy 60 lbs. While he looks like a “black” boxer, that coloring is actually called reverse brindle—the stripes are so close together, it gives him that stunning dark coat. Ghee has settled beautifully into his foster home alongside his foster sister, Molly. He’s housetrained, knows basic commands, uses the doggy door like a pro, and walks nicely on a leash. He’s affectionate, loves attention, and is a big fan of the classic boxer lean. With his moderate energy level, he’s the perfect mix of playful and chill.
