About Figaro
Figaro is a long-haired tuxedo with a dramatic look and an even more interesting personality. He’s highly food motivated—bring out a treat, and you’ll quickly get his attention—but he’s naturally shy and needs time to warm up. Earning his trust takes patience and a calm home, as he’s easily startled by new situations and people. Once he feels safe, Figaro tolerates gentle petting and sometimes leans in, but he has clear boundaries and will swat if overstimulated. He’s best with someone who can read cat body language and respects his signals. When relaxed, Figaro’s playful side comes out. He enjoys wand toys, furry mice, and batting around plastic coils. He spends hours perched in cozy cubbies or up a cat tree, quietly observing like a shadow. Don’t be surprised to find him curled nearby—he’ll sometimes lick or nip at fingers and toes in a burst of mischief. He’s infamous for exploring desks, marching across laptops, and knocking things over out of curiosity. Food is never safe around him—he has no qualms about trying to snatch a bite. Figaro came from a rough start as a frightened kitten discovered in a foster’s backyard. Since then, he’s been learning to trust, and for someone willing to meet him halfway, he’ll be a fascinating and rewarding companion. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready for his next adventure. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
