Meet Lupine, a 2-year-old Husky mix with a big personality and endless charm. After a stint in foster care—where he proved to be both loving and resilient—Lupine landed with the rescue due to circumstances outside his control. Through every transition, he’s held on to his playful, affectionate nature and strong need to be part of a lively household. Lupine is bright, energetic, and thrives when given plenty to do. True to his Husky side, he’s smart and always on the hunt for the next adventure, whether it’s a walk, a rousing play session, or just tagging along with his people. He’s especially good with children, bringing an infectious, goofy enthusiasm wherever he goes. However, he does struggle with separation anxiety and doesn’t like being left alone for more than a few hours—boredom can lead to the kind of mischievous redecorating only a creative Husky can manage. Lupine will need structure, patience, and enrichment to help him feel safe and settle in. Lupine is partly housebroken, knows commands like "sit" and "down," and can be a little mouthy during play, but it’s all excitement—never aggression. He’s looking for an active, committed home ready to channel his energy and invest in continued training and confidence-building. Lupine gets along with dogs, is wonderful with kids, but does not get along with cats.
