About Fred

Meet Fred, a gentle soul who has been through quite a journey. Coming from a home in Alabama where he once lived outside with his companions, he and his friends faced unexpected challenges after their caregiver fell ill. Though a bit shy and timid, Fred is learning that he can trust again. When given the chance, he shows a sweet, protective nature, especially around those he holds dear. Fred thrives on patience, gentle care, and encouragement. With a little time, he will become a loving companion, ready to offer affection in return. His experience has taught him the value of safety and kindness, and he's grateful for the opportunity to start anew at Big Dog Ranch. Could you be the one to help this lovely dog find his forever home? Fred is good with other dogs and is eager to find a family that will help him truly shine.
