Meet Peach - a senior girl who finally got the second chance she deserves. Peach came to us from a shelter after staff noticed some unexplained weight loss. Senior cats often struggle in a typical shelter environment and need extra comfort, stability, and care - something we were so happy to provide her. Once she arrived, we suspected hyperthyroidism, a common and very manageable condition in senior cats. Bloodwork confirmed our suspicion, and Peach has been doing great ever since starting treatment. She just needs one small pill daily, which she happily takes in her food. To help set her future up for success, April's Kittens will provide a full year supply of her medication to her adopter - and even beyond that, it's very affordable to maintain. Peach has truly settled into her cozy life with us. She spends her days lounging in her favorite window bed, soaking up the sunshine, napping, and enjoying the quiet life she's always deserved. She's an easygoing, gentle soul who is perfectly content just being near her people, and she coexists well with other cats. She is incredibly sweet, low-maintenance, and absolutely adorable. Peach also eats prescription digestive care food, which she loves and does very well on. Peach is the kind of cat who will bring a calm, comforting presence into a home. She's simply looking for a soft place to land, someone to love her, and a sunny spot to call her own.
