About Tucker
Meet Tucker. At just three years old, Tucker has already been through a lot—he’s lost two families after each faced the same difficult situation, all before he landed in foster care. When he was facing euthanasia because of shelter space limits, a quick-thinking foster gave him a second chance. Now he’s safe in Memphis and working his way through heartworm treatment, which he aced like a champ. Tucker weighs about 48 pounds, is neutered, and stays up to date on all his vaccinations. He’s had experience living with children and does well with them. He’ll get along with other dogs once he’s had a proper introduction, but he hasn’t lived with cats, so a cat-free home is best. Tucker is described as a bit “clingy”—not surprising given everything he’s been through—but he walks well on leash and just wants someone to care for him. Ready for a fresh start, Tucker’s hoping for a stable, loving home that matches the devotion he shows. Adoption is $200. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
