Meet Chickpea! Hi, I'm a new arrival here at Street Dog Hero! I'm part of a litter of adorable young mixed breed puppies that came to us as local surrenders from right here in Central Oregon. We're still going through our required medical vetting, so we're not quite ready to go home and be adopted yet. Foster Update 4/24/26: This little girl has the cutest lil face and most wonderful personality. She's very young, so it's understandable that she has some needy tendencies, so her future adopter will need to fully understand all the work that goes into raising a lil youngster from setting boundaries, lots of socialization, training and having lots of patience! She's already getting acquainted with the chickens, horses and our pack of 5 dogs. She sleeps often, loves exploring, snuggling, sunbathing, and romping around. With lots of patience, time and setting those boundaries early and establishing structure, consistency and routine, there's no doubt this lil munchkin will bring her future new family so much joy!
