AvailableTia is a small, black Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix with short hair who is around 6.5 to 8 years old and currently in Hamden, CT. About Tia
Tia keeps to herself when meeting new people but opens up with time and patience. Once she feels at home, she’ll quietly follow you everywhere and settle in as your loyal companion. She's a small, easygoing dog — mellow, unobtrusive, and simple to care for according to her foster. Now around 6.5 to 8 years old, this little, black, short-haired girl landed in rescue after being found as a stray. She loves riding in the car, lounging in the yard, and curling up on a dog bed. Tia is good with dogs of all sizes, gets along with children and cats, and is generally content being where the people are. She takes her time with transitions and will need an adopter who lets her settle in at her own pace. She’s already house trained, uses potty pads if needed, and has adapted to a routine in her foster home. Leash walks, crate time, bath days, and vet visits all go over smoothly with her. Treats and attention go a long way, and she’ll be happiest in a loving, gentle home. She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea/tick preventatives. Tia's adoption fee is fully sponsored.
