About Torpedo
Torpedo is a lovable senior cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s super chill and spends most of his day sleeping or lounging, but he also enjoys wandering around, exploring a bit, and especially loves getting pets and scritches. Torpedo does well with other cats and has adjusted easily to living alongside both big and small dogs in his foster home. He likes meeting new people and isn’t shy about asking for attention—he’ll happily curl up for affection or let you pick him up without fuss. While he moves a bit slowly due to arthritis, he's able to get on and off furniture by himself and doesn’t let his age keep him from enjoying life. Torpedo receives a monthly Solensia injection from the vet for his arthritis, which has noticeably improved his mobility. He’s in early kidney disease and needs prescription kidney food; this care may increase as he ages. His litter box setup requires a side entry with a pee pad underneath because of how he positions himself, but it’s easily managed. Despite mild dental disease, he isn’t in pain, so there’s no need for risky procedures. Saved from a tough outdoor life, Torpedo is ready to settle into a calm, loving home to enjoy his golden years.
