Location: Wilmington, OH Tanner is a 4-year-old Frenchie who came to us from a partner shelter after being surrendered by his previous owner. It’s pretty clear he didn’t get much exposure to the world early on, so new situations can make him a little… cautious. That said, once Tanner has a minute to process and realize no one is trying to ruin his life, his personality comes through quickly. He’s sweet, affectionate, and fully on board with cuddling once he’s comfortable. He also enjoys playing and does great with other dogs and kids. He just needs a family willing to give him a little patience on the front end. His ideal home will continue working on socialization by introducing him to new people, places, and experiences in a positive way. He doesn’t need perfection—just consistency.
