About Amos
Amos arrived after a rough start, needing his front left leg amputated. No one is sure what happened, but he bore his ordeal with real fortitude—he even charmed the vet techs right after surgery, calmly leaning in for support. Unlike the typical Husky, Amos takes a much quieter, easygoing approach to life. He’ll speak up with a soft little growl when talking to you, but it’s more endearing than intimidating. House manners are solid—Amos is house trained and does well on a leash. He’d happily tag along for pretty much any daily adventure. People are his thing; he is friendly, adores attention, and thrives in the middle of any social setting, doing well with both new people and other animals. Amos gets along with dogs, is fine with cats, and even has no qualms about ignoring the livestock roaming around his foster home. His favorite place is wherever you are, though on good days you might find him stretched out on the porch watching the world roll by. He sometimes asks to sleep outside but will stick to whatever routine works for his people. Amos is fully vaccinated, neutered, and ready for a family that will include him in the good life. With a birthday of November 30, Amos is a Sagittarius, which means he’s always open to new adventures. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
