About Jerry
Jerry is a natural red Doberman, just a year old, who landed in rescue after his owners left the country and a neighbor couldn’t keep him. He comes across as shy at first when meeting new people but shows his affectionate nature once he feels comfortable. Jerry craves both attention and connection, making him quick to bond with those who give him time. He currently can be reactive when seeing other dogs on walks, so he needs an experienced, confident handler who can set clear boundaries and help him work through this tendency. Jerry is house trained and up to date on vaccinations. He still has that puppy energy and would benefit from ongoing training to help him develop into a loyal companion. Jerry does not get along with cats, so he’ll need a cat-free home. The right adopter will have some experience, patience, and the commitment to see him grow into his best self. Ready to fall in love?
