About Jettie
Jettie is a 5-month-old black short-haired Labrador Retriever/Terrier mix with a soft, gentle spirit that shows from the moment you meet her. Even though she's still figuring things out, her sweetness and loyalty already shine through. Jettie is expected to mature into a medium-sized dog, likely topping out around 60 lbs (she's currently about 20). Shy with new people and situations, she's slowly discovering her confidence. Tasty treats and plenty of patience help her open up; she bravely takes things one step at a time. Jettie gets along well with other dogs and with children, and she'd be happiest in a home where she has a canine buddy. Her attitude toward cats isn't known yet. She’s still working on house, crate, and leash training, but she tries and has already made progress. Jettie’s history as a stray is firmly in the past—now she’s learning to trust, and she needs an adopter who can offer stability, patience, and gentle guidance. Once she feels secure, she’ll reward her people with steadfast affection and quiet joy. Give her time and you’ll discover a companion with remarkable heart. Your new best friend is just one click away.
