About Bonnie

Bonnie is unlike most cats you’ll meet. Completely devoted to other cats, she becomes a loyal shadow to any feline who lets her. She came into foster care as a kitten and, while her brother quickly adjusted, Bonnie has remained reserved—even after a couple of trial runs in other homes that didn’t quite fit. She approaches people when she’s ready, never under pressure, and feels safest when given space to move at her own pace. Insisting on attention or chasing Bonnie only makes her anxious (she’s the rare cat with a stress-pooping skill). Despite being shy, she loves to sleep near her people or other cats and will seek gentle affection during calm moments, especially around mealtimes. Bonnie thrives with someone patient and kind who understands cat body language and respects boundaries. She’s never lived outdoors since kittenhood and does best in a quiet home with other friendly cats and no one who needs an instant lap-warmer. Her silliest habit? She sticks her tongue out when meowing—a trait as quirky as she is. She’s a good-hearted cat who deserves someone willing to earn her trust and keep her company. Questions about Bonnie

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Domestic Short Hair cats like Bonnie typically do well in a calm, stable home environment. Given her personality, she'll thrive in a house where she can bond with other friendly cats and where people respect her need for space.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Bonnie is an indoor Domestic Short Hair and has not known an outside life since she was a kitten. This breed adapts well to apartment or house living without outdoor access, as long as there are places to climb and explore inside.
