Her Medical Story (and how she’s doing now) Evelyn was born with eyelid agenesis, meaning her eyelids did not fully develop. Because of this, she underwent laser surgery to prevent her eyelashes from irritating her eyes and protect her long-term comfort and vision. She is now: Healthy Happy Comfortable Fully thriving in her daily life She does require routine monitoring as part of her normal care, but she is doing beautifully and is not defined by her condition.
