About Bourbon
Bourbon strolled right into someone’s car at a gas station and never looked back. Underfed and eager for company, he found comfort with strangers who took him in and soon discovered he’s solid with both dogs and cats. With a gentle, loving personality, Bourbon sticks to his people like glue—he’s happiest pressed up against someone, soaking up all the affection he can get. House trained and craving human connection, Bourbon is a huge cuddle bug who’ll shadow you around the house and lean his big frame against you whenever possible. Estimated at two years old and projected to be about 90 lbs at a healthy weight, Bourbon brings the best of Mastiff and Boxer to the table: size, heart, and an eagerness to please. He’s now neutered, vaccinated, and cleared for adoption. Bourbon has also been accepted into the Paws in Prison Program for intensive training—he’ll come out in mid-June house trained, leash trained, crate trained, and with plenty of new tricks up his sleeve. If you need a sweet, loyal companion who loves people, Bourbon fits the bill. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
