About Dooley
Meet Dooley, a smart and playful pup who’s ready to bring energy and adventure into your life. He learns quickly and already knows 'sit,' is working on 'paw' and 'down,' and absolutely loves a good game of fetch. You’ll find him eager to please and food-motivated, with no resource guarding at mealtime. He’s great with other dogs and gets along with children aged six and up, making him an excellent choice for families ready for the bouncy joys of puppyhood. Dooley is house trained and crate trained, but like any young dog, he’ll need ongoing consistency and leadership to keep developing good habits. With his medium apricot and cream coat, he may have some Golden Retriever or Collie in his mix—though no one knows for sure. His estimated adult weight is around 60 lbs, so he’s a sturdy, medium-sized companion. Dooley loves everyone he meets and requires patience while adjusting to a new home. Puppy obedience classes are recommended, and he’s at the ideal age for continued training and socialization. He will be adopted under a contract requiring his neuter by six months old, with a portion of the adoption fee refunded after completion. Dooley is a Capricorn—no surprise he’s clever and determined.
