Hi… I’m Wrennie I’m a young Shepherd mix girl, born around 1/1/2026, and I’m expected to be about 50 pounds when I’m fully grown. I’m still learning all about the world, and while I may be a little shy at first, there’s a gentle, playful heart inside me just waiting to blossom. My story started out pretty tough. I was found living in a foxhole with my mom and siblings, and I had never been touched by humans before being rescued. While at the sanctuary, I got very sick with parvo and sadly lost my brother. After about a month there, I made my way to a foster home, where I’m finally starting to learn what safety and love feel like. Why you’ll fall in love with me: Gentle Soul – I’m a sensitive, reserved girl who is slowly learning to trust. Once I feel safe, I’ll let you pet me and even take treats from your hand (bonus points if you’re patient and move slowly!). Playful Pup – I love playing with toys and especially enjoy romping around with my sister or other dogs. Having a dog friend makes me feel brave. Dog-Loving Companion – I need another confident, friendly dog in my home. I take comfort in other pups and look to them for guidance and reassurance. Cozy Cuddler (In Training) – One of my favorite things is laying on the couch with another dog—any dog will do! I’m still working up to full human snuggles, but I’m getting closer every day. Growing Braver Every Day – My first instinct might be to run when something feels scary, but I’m making progress. I’ve started waiting (very bravely!) for my food and learning that good things come from kind humans. I’m pee pad trained and still brand new to leash walking, so I’ll need a family willing to help me learn at my own pace. I don’t require a crate, but I do need a calm, understanding environment. My dream home? A quiet, patient household with at least one other dog to show me the ropes. A home with a yard would be amazing so I can explore and build confidence in a safe space. I’ve never been without my sister or other dogs, so having a canine companion isn’t optional for me—it’s essential. I’m still very much a work in progress, but I have so much love to give once I feel safe. If you have a gentle heart, a little patience, and a friendly dog who wouldn’t mind showing me the way, I just might be your girl. Could you be the one to help me write my happy ending? My adoption fee is $550, which covers my vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. Do I sound like your new best friend?
