About Honey Bee

Honey Bee arrived nearly skin and bones, too frightened to trust a soul. With time and steady meals, she’s started to figure out people can be kind, and treats really help her open up. She’s more comfortable with women compared to men, though children are her absolute favorite. This girl weighs just under 60 pounds now and could stand to fill out some more. Honey Bee is learning to sit for treats and walks okay on a leash, though she’ll tug when excited. House training is still in progress—she has accidents in her kennel, and she’s slowly breaking the habit of eating her feces as her health improves. Baths aren’t a problem, and car rides don’t faze her. She’s had to fight for every meal in her past, so she’ll need help managing some resource guarding. Anyone ready to bring her home should be patient and willing to give her the time she needs to really feel safe, especially as she learns how to just be a dog again. What are you waiting for?
