Meet Athena 🐾 Athena is a sweet older girl with a happy heart and so much love still to give. She is about 7 years old, weighs around 36 pounds, and is a Terrier mix. Athena may be a little older, but she is still a bright, loving girl who deserves a home where she can finally relax and be cherished. She was found by Animal Control, and it’s truly heartbreaking that no one came for her. Even so, Athena has stayed sweet, gentle, and happy. She is the kind of dog who makes you wonder how she ended up here in the first place. Athena is ready to leave shelter life behind and find a family who will see how special she is. Older dogs have so much to offer, and Athena is no exception — she is loving, deserving, and ready for her second chance.
