Max
AvailableMax is a medium-sized, short-coated, harlequin and black pit bull terrier mix. He is an adult, neutered male with vaccinations up to date and is currently located in Clarksburg, MO. Max is not house trained yet and needs a family ready to help him adjust to indoor living. He does not have any special needs.
About Max
Max is about two years old and likely a mix of pit bull terrier and maybe a bit of heeler, making him a handsome, unique boy. He arrived on April 1 without a collar or microchip, and though no one came to claim him, Max quickly made himself at home with his rescuers. Now, with several dogs on the property already, his finders want to see Max land in a home where he’ll be a priority. He’s fully vetted, current on monthly preventatives, and gets along with other dogs, chickens, and cows. He’s briefly met a child and handled it well, but hasn’t lived with kids full-time. Max is all about attention—he’s a total cuddle bug, eager to please, and thrives on human company. He knows basic commands and really wants to be indoors with his people. He’s smart enough to learn boundaries, respects under-ground fencing, and enjoys tagging along for outdoor adventures. Max has lived outside so far, so house and kennel training will be new, but his intelligence and desire to bond with people suggest a smooth transition. He’s loyal, affectionate, and ready to be someone’s devoted companion—making every day a little brighter just by being there. A meet and greet at your home is required to adopt Max, and his adoption fee is completely waived. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
