Meet Pedro! This sweet senior was found wandering by a good Samaritan and his eyes and body tell you he has Been Through It! A medical workup was an immediate need for Pedro. Pedro was quickly diagnosed with diabetes and is now on a steady regimen of a wet food only diet and twice daily insulin shots. Insulin is not difficult to administer and Pedro takes it like a champ. Pedro has an old eye injury which makes one eye appear smaller than the other. Other than an occasional gentle cleaning with a warm cloth, this does not require any further intervention and just add's to Pedro's charm. Pedro is a world class cuddler and has loved all the humans he has met. As he has felt better, he's become a bit testy with kitty friends and wants to show everyone he is the center of attention. Pedro would do well in a home without other kitties and where humans love hugs as much as he does.
