Phoebe is a female, medium-sized, mixed-breed Terrier with a short, white or cream coat. She is just over a year old and currently living in Mansfield, OH. Phoebe is spayed, house trained, and up to date on her vaccinations. As a deaf dog, she needs some extra support, but she’s quick to learn.

About Phoebe

Phoebe’s story hasn’t been gentle, but she’s come out of it with an open heart. She arrived after a rough start—six different homes and an injury to her brow. Through it all, Phoebe stays sweet, friendly, and hopeful for something better. She craves a stable place where she can finally settle. Phoebe is deaf, so whoever welcomes her needs to be ready to learn alongside her. Training will involve some different approaches, but she’s already picking up sign cues (she knows the sign for sit!), and her intelligence stands out. She’s eager to please, and with the right person or family, she’ll master her skills quickly. Phoebe seems comfortable with other dogs and cats. Due to her tendency to bolt when doors open, she’s best suited to a home without small children. She’s just over a year old and is resilient, affectionate, and ready for a fresh start after all she’s been through. Phoebe is ready to thrive as someone’s dream dog. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
