Meet Cajun! Cajun is a handsome ginger gentleman who has traded the Southern heat for the Windy City. Cajun joined us from a shelter in Alabama after his previous owner unexpectedly became unable to care for him. This left Cajun on his own for two weeks without access to food or water, but this brave boy is a true survivor. Despite the uncertainty and hunger he faced, this resilient guy has shown incredible strength. He is currently on a dedicated recovery plan and is blossoming more and more every day as he regains his health and vitality. We are still getting to know him better, but so far we have noticed he is a sweet boy who enjoys a good Churu lickable treat!! Cajun has been through the storm, and now he's just looking for his sunshine. If you have a soft spot for a resilient soul with a beautiful orange coat, Cajun might just be the best friend you've been waiting for. Cajun is neutered, up-to-date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations, and FIV and FeLV negative. Cajun is currently staying onsite at our Heartland Facility! Stop by during our open hours on Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday Noon-6pm or Sunday Noon-6pm to meet him! No appointment necessary.
