Meet Luke & Luna – A Bonded Pair ❤️ Luke (7 years old) and Luna (10 years old) are a truly special duo looking for a home where they can stay together. They were surrendered to the shelter after their owner could no longer care for them, and through it all, they’ve had each other—and that bond is something truly beautiful to witness. These two share everything: beds, affection, and even little grooming sessions where they clean each other. They’ve been each other’s comfort and stability, and the shelter is committed to keeping them together because they truly thrive side by side. Luke is the younger of the pair and has a great training foundation—he knows commands like heel, sit, leave it, and more. He can experience some separation anxiety, but he does much better when he’s with Luna. He is looking to be the only pet in the home, where he can feel secure and focused on his people and his sister. Luna, the older and wiser of the two, is a gentle, lovely girl. She is currently under medical observation after having a few lumps and bumps removed, but she is recovering well and continues to show her sweet, resilient spirit. Together, Luke and Luna are affectionate, loving companions who just need a second chance at a stable, caring home. They may be a bit older, but they have so much love left to give—and their bond makes them all the more special.
