About Minikin

Minikin is an 8-month-old bundle of personality with a striking brindle coat that makes him stand out from his littermates. He's a mix of Australian Cattle Dog and Plott Hound heritage, and at about 35-40 lbs, he’s the second tallest of his brothers. Rescued from a hoarding situation near Grants, New Mexico, Minikin’s had a rough start but hasn’t lost his cheerful nature. He’s got a medium energy level—enough to keep things interesting, but not overwhelming. Minikin is dog-friendly and enjoys canine company, but tends to be nervous around cats. He’s still learning the ropes of housetraining, though he does well on leash and is comfortable in the car. Minikin is fixed, fully vaccinated, and dewormed, so he’s ready for his next chapter. Fostered near Ramah, Minikin can be met in person in the 4-Corners area. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
