Meet Maxwell! Maxwell is a 9 month old, 30 pound, male husky. Despite being a puppy, we're not sure he'll get any bigger. Making this husky boy, a rare medium husky. Maxwell has some typical husky behavior, he loves singing and getting lots of treats. Maxwell loves everybody he meets, humans, dog, and cats. This boy favorite hobby: giving kisses. Maxwell thinks the world would be a better place if everybody let him give them kisses. Maxwell thinks he's a lap dog and cannot be convinced otherwise. He is looking for a family that appreciates puppy antics and playtime. Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
