When he first arrived, he was matted, scared, and clearly hadn’t had an easy time. After a much-needed haircut and some TLC, he’s not only looking better, he’s starting to feel better, too. As Pye begins to come out of his shell, we’re getting to see the sweet dog underneath. He’s discovered a love for treats, enjoys spending time outside, and is learning that attention can be a really good thing once he feels comfortable. Pye is still gaining confidence, but he’s well on his way. With a little patience and kindness, he’s going to make a wonderful, loyal companion for someone ready to help him continue his journey. COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Pye has the potential to get along with other dogs. Pye would do best in a home without cats. MEDICAL NEEDS: None. ADOPTION FEE: $250
