Meet Jewel Jewel is a one-year-old sweetheart whose journey is as powerful as her personality. She came into Lucky Paws Rescue after she and her sister were thrown from a car window in front of one of our team members. Since that day, she has been in a loving foster home where she has been given the time, care, and patience to learn to trust people again. Today, Jewel is thriving—and ready for her forever home. She is smart, eager to engage, and enjoys spending time with her people. She also loves other dogs and would do well with a compatible canine companion. However, due to her preferences, she would do best in a home without small dogs or cats. One of her most unique (and adorable!) traits is how vocal she is when she wants attention—she will “talk” to you in a way that sounds just like Chewbacca, making her personality truly unforgettable. At one year old, Jewel has the perfect balance of playful energy and established manners.
