Nellie came to us with 5 other dogs when her owner sadly passed away. Nellie is about 7 years old, and has had quite a few litters throughout her life. Thankfully she is spayed and will no longer be a baby making machine. She is such a sweet girl who has done great with everyone she has met so far at the shelter.  She does well with other friendly dogs, and has reportedly lived with cats before and did completely fine. She is also used to being around kids.  Nellie is crate trained and housetrained, although if given the choice, wants nothing more than to be with her people. She is so sweet, and gives the best kisses and hugs. She loves to play with toys and has so much energy left to enjoy, but she is also is content with snuggling on the couch with her people for hours. She is long overdue for being the center of a special family's world, and hopes to find her forever home soon!
