Hot and very humid with the Mississippi adding to the moisture. Limit outdoor activity to early morning. The bluffs catch river breezes that offer slight relief.

Sep – Nov

October and November bring comfortable temperatures and lower humidity. The Natchez Trace fall color is subtle but pretty. This is one of the best times for walking the historic district with your pet.
