About Vanilla
Vanilla is an engaging 8-week-old Cattle Dog mix with a sweet, inclusive nature. Even at this early age, she is eager to be part of everything and thrives on interaction with her humans. Her foster notes that she's respectful during play, showing genuine curiosity and friendly energy around both the resident dogs and cat—she’ll play at the gate with the dogs and pays no mind to the cat. Vanilla hasn’t had much exposure to children yet, but she seems open and would likely enjoy their attention. She’s just started outdoor adventures, and already likes sprawling on the grass to watch the world. Food, cuddling, and play rate high on her list of loves. Vanilla is picking up foundational commands like recall and sit, learning routines quickly, and has begun crate and house training, which she’s handling like a champ—she’ll even nap in an open crate. This gentle pup has no known dislikes so far and is poised to grow into a wonderful family companion with the right guidance. Fun fact: With a February 23rd birthday, Vanilla is a Pisces, often described as caring and gentle—traits she already shows. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
