About Bambi
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Get ready to meet Bambi and her brother Beau, a pair of beautiful young dogs who have already shown immense resilience at just 6-9 months old. Rescued after being abandoned in Cleveland, these mixed breed pups arrived hungry and in need of care, yet their spirits remained bright and loving. Since moving into foster care, Bambi (the tan and white female) has proven to be incredibly gentle, sweet, and affectionate, thriving with her brother in a calm and nurturing environment. Both are around 25–30 lbs and are likely to remain at the smaller side of medium, reflecting their corgi mix heritage and pure charm. Bambi's easygoing nature shines through: she is calm, quiet, and low energy—wonderful for a relaxed household. She's known for her affectionate personality, loves people and other dogs, and is also great with children, making her a terrific family companion. Crate trained and showing no destructive behaviors, Bambi has demonstrated adaptability and quick learning. Having been raised in a supportive sober living home, she benefits from constant socialization and is picking up basic commands. Though it would be ideal to place Bambi and Beau together, placement in loving, individual homes will also be considered for the right adopters who can continue the care and attention they've come to know. After surviving a rough start, Bambi is ready to embrace a safe, forever home where she can finally just be a dog. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
