Mittens is a young, medium-sized tuxedo cat with a medium-length coat living in San Antonio, TX. He is neutered, vaccinated, and house trained, making him a low-maintenance companion. Though he had a rough start, overcoming some serious health challenges, Mittens is now healthy and ready for adoption.

About Mittens

Mittens was abandoned alongside his mother, Sophia, and they have a close connection that’s easy to see. At first, he can be a bit reserved, but once he settles in, he turns into an affectionate cat who loves attention. Play comes naturally to Mittens—he’s curious, clever, and often carries around his stuffed ball like a dog, even letting out a tiny growl if another kitten tries to take it. He is gently social with other kittens and quickly becomes the group’s peacemaker. Having made a full recovery after distemper and ringworm, Mittens is thriving and eager to start his life in a forever home. He warms up to new friends and, once he trusts you, shows what a sweet companion he can be. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
