At just 1 year and 7 months old, she’s a spayed female with up-to-date vaccinations. While she isn't yet house-trained, Coco gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children. She’s noted to have some special needs that a dedicated home will need to address.
About Coco
Coco came into this world just days after her mother was saved from a shelter’s euthanasia list, and she’s thrived in a foster home ever since. Social and outgoing, Coco’s time in foster care helped her become a gentle, friendly dog who finds comfort in the company of others, whether human, canine, or feline. She’s had two prior adoptions, but was returned due to a high prey drive with chickens and developing separation anxiety when left to watch over a big property on her own. At home, Coco is even-tempered, fully house-trained, and never pushes boundaries with food. She’s pleasant on a leash and enjoys her walks, though car rides can leave her a little queasy—something she quickly shakes off. Coco thrives around people and dogs, seeking out companionship and leaning into the pack life. She greets everyone—adults and children alike—with affectionate enthusiasm and maintains a respectful relationship with the household cats. Coco isn’t suited for a solitary or rural life with small farm animals, but she’s an ideal match for a household where someone is home much of the day or has another social dog for company. She’s resilient, eager to belong, and ready to bring warmth to a home that values togetherness over independence. As an added note, born on October 10th, Coco is a Libra—known for their social charm. Give her a family, and she gives you unwavering loyalty. Start your journey together! Apply now.
