A 9 month old neutered male Poodle Mix with a quiet strength and a heart that’s learning to trust again. Leo’s story began in a heartbreaking way—he was found by animal control in Hawthorne after being dragged by a car. Despite what he has endured, he is gentle, observant, and slowly revealing a soft, tender spirit underneath his cautious exterior. He’s still figuring out the world at his own pace, finding comfort in calm voices, soft spaces, and patient companionship. There’s a delicate resilience in him—like he wants to believe in kindness again, one small step at a time. At just 9 months old, Leo is a young soul with a powerful journey ahead, ready for a home that will move gently with him and let him blossom into the dog he’s meant to be. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications.
