AvailableAbout Cheyanne
Cheyanne is currently in a foster home. If you would like to meet her, please start by visiting www.sccrescue.org and completing an application. Cheyanne is a little Southern belle with a playful streak and a heart as big as a front porch swing at sunset. Thought to be around a year old, this Sheltie mix sweetheart is settling into her manners just beautifully—she’s working hard on her house training and already proving herself to be a smart cookie. With a consistent routine, she keeps her crate clean through the night and will even use a pee pad if her person gets a little busy. Like any young pup, she might take a minute to settle in her crate, but once she does, she’s as peaceful as a quiet country evening. Don’t let her soft fluff fool you—this girl has a spark! Cheyanne loves to run and play in the yard, especially with her doggy friends, and she’s never met a game of tug-of-war she didn’t adore. She’s confident, curious, and happy to make friends with dogs both big and small. After she’s gotten her zoomies out, she’s more than content to wind down, preferably curled right up next to her favorite human (and yes, she believes personal space is more of a suggestion than a rule). Whether she’s napping at your feet while you work or trotting happily beside you on a leash, she brings a joyful, easygoing energy wherever she goes. Cheyanne is also finding her voice in all the right ways—she’ll give a polite bark if someone’s at the door or something catches her attention, but she’s not one to fuss without reason. She’s come a long way in a short time, growing more comfortable each day, especially after getting the care she needed to feel her best. With her love of toys, her sweet cuddly nature, and her charming little quirks, Cheyanne is the kind of pup who’ll keep you smiling from sunup to sundown. All she needs now is a loving home where she can keep blooming into the wonderful companion she’s meant to be. We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dog’s individual needs. Please understand that there may be multiple families interested in this dog. Also, please know that the breed mix listed is simply a guess. In most cases, we don’t know their background. We encourage you to base your decision on individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on our guess. Please understand, we only adopt our animals out near the Chicagoland area. Questions? Email us at adoptions@sccrescue.org. Hope to see you become part of the SCCR family!
