Meet Shimmer! Shimmer is a 1 year-old gentle mama, Shepherd mix, who’s raised her puppies and is now ready for a fresh start of her own. She has a playful side—especially with her best friend Grady, where the two tumble around like cats—but she’s still learning to fully trust people. Shimmer is slowly warming up to human touch and will need a patient home that lets her come out of her shell at her own pace. She’s also working on her leash skills and improving every day. Shimmer is crate and house trained, spayed and current with her vaccines. Shimmer's ideal home would be a calm, patient home (bonus if Grady can come too!) that will give her time, consistency, and lots of gentle encouragement as she learns what it means to be loved.
