Briar & Braden! Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR got a call for help when a family was moving and couldn’t get their pregnant cat into a carrier. We planned to go the next day to trap her… but when we arrived, she had already given birth. After talking with the homeowners, we learned the heartbreaking truth—this was her third back-to-back litter, and there were multiple other unaltered cats in the home, including five other pregnant mamas. This poor girl’s body had simply been through too much. Not long after we rescued her, she became very sick. Despite everything we tried, Briar and Braden’s mama didn’t make it. These two were rushed into the hands of a bottle feeder, and from that moment on, they were surrounded by love. Now look at them. Briar and Braden are happy, playful, cuddly little girls who adore each other. They’ve been through more than they should have in their tiny lives, and because of that, their bond is something really special. They sleep together, play together, and find comfort in each other.
