About Lex Lancaster
Lex Lancaster has learned a lot in a short amount of time. Found as a stray, she had plenty of adapting to do when she first came inside, and she still prefers some independence. Lex keeps an eye from a distance until trust is earned, but once comfortable, she's sweet and a little silly. That said, she’s no pushover—patience and cat experience will go a long way with her. She had to undergo two surgeries after a tail injury, leaving her with a cute nub, which only makes her more lovable. These challenges have boosted her confidence, but she still likes to do things on her own terms. When Lex wants affection, she’ll ask, especially if you know the right way to scratch her chin, neck, or ears. Her purr is loud when she's happy, and her inner kitten shows up during playtime—she goes from zero to wild in a blink. Food always gets her attention. At under one year, Lex is spayed, up-to-date on shots, negative for FeLV, FIV positive, treated for parasites, microchipped, and reliably uses her litter box. She’s a quirky little character—athletic, smart, playful, independent, and quiet. Lex gets along with other cats. With the right person and plenty of patience, she’ll return your commitment tenfold.
