About Bender
Meet Bender. He’s about 1.8 years old and was found abandoned at a church, quickly winning over everyone he met with his big, soulful eyes and easy charm. Thanks to caring folks in the community, Bender is now neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and ready for adoption. Bender is sweet and highly affectionate—he’ll gently nudge your legs with his head and face until you notice him and offer a little attention. He’s calm, gentle, and prefers lounging beside his people over getting too riled up. If you’re looking for a companion who wants to be close but isn’t overwhelming, Bender checks that box. He’s obedient and eager to please. He still has a lot to learn with commands and leash walking (sometimes he’ll lay down mid-walk if the mood strikes), but he’s quick to catch on and stays motivated to make you proud. Bender is potty trained, not yet crate trained, but handled a two-day vet stay without issues, showing he can handle a change or new routine. Bender gets along with other dogs and has been around cats without any trouble—he’s mostly curious and has shown no signs of chasing or aggression. Cats sometimes get more wound up than him. He’s resilient after everything he’s been through, and what he wants most is a calm, stable home where he’s safe and cherished. If you’re looking for a truly loyal dog who will quietly adore you and offer steadfast company, Bender may be the fit you’ve been searching for. Click apply to start the adoption process.
