Wolfey
AvailableWolfey is a large, long-haired black domestic cat with a calm, affectionate personality. At 6 years and 1 month old, he is a neutered male who is house trained and up to date on his vaccinations. Wolfey has special needs due to diabetes and will require insulin shots twice daily, along with regular vet visits. He is living in Blue Springs, MO, waiting for his forever home.
About Wolfey
Wolfey’s been through more than most cats, but it hasn’t dulled his gentle nature. He spent five years with his first person after being a bottle baby, only to lose his home when she fell on hard times. Wolfey and three other cats lived cramped in a small bathroom for months before being surrendered. The others found new homes quickly—Wolfey’s journey took a tougher turn. After he was adopted again, Wolfey developed diabetes and was then returned. That was a year ago. When he came back, he was incredibly sick, but with good vet care, he bounced back. Wolfey now gets insulin shots twice daily and regular vet checks to monitor his diabetes. He eats standard low-carb pâté and doesn’t mind his injections one bit. This is a manageable condition. He’s lived with other cats, genuinely adores children, and will chat with a soft meow. Brushing and cuddles are some of his favorites, and he’s happiest around people. Catnip toys are always a hit. Wolfey is currently in a foster home in Blue Springs, MO, and is looking for someone ready to give him the stable, loving environment he deserves. Click apply to start the adoption process.
