About Newfoundland Dog Dogs

Newfoundland Dogs are gentle giants known for their sweet temperament, massive size, and natural swimming ability. They were originally bred as working dogs for fishermen in Newfoundland, Canada. Their thick, water-resistant coat, webbed feet, and powerful build make them exceptional water rescue dogs.

Adopting a Newfoundland means welcoming one of the most gentle, patient dogs in the world. They are famous for their love of children and are often called "nanny dogs." Their calm demeanor and devotion to family make them wonderful companions despite their considerable size.
